Subscription Terms

Last updated: 16 September 2026

These terms cover the reading subscription to idinsayit. Programme enrolments and clinical services are separate and are not included in a subscription.

Reading for free

Pieces marked free to read stay free, however many there are and however often you come back.

Nothing counts what you have opened and nothing is stored on your device to keep track of it. A subscription opens everything else.

What a subscription gives you

  • Every article on the site, with no meter and no count.
  • The full archive, including older pieces.
  • Any subscriber-only pieces or notes.
  • An account page showing your billing history and your renewal date.

A subscription does not include programme enrolment, clinical sessions, or access to the client portal. Those are bought separately.

A subscription is personal. It is for one reader, not an institution, and we do not sell a library or group licence. If you are a clinic, a library or a teaching group and you want your people to be able to read this, write to iam@idinsayit.com and we will work something out. There is nothing off the shelf, so it will be a conversation rather than a price list.

Newsletter

The newsletter is separate and free. Subscribing to read does not sign you up for it, and unsubscribing from it does not affect your subscription. You opt in, and you can opt out from any newsletter email.

Billing

You choose a monthly or an annual plan. You pay for the period in advance, through Razorpay.

The price you see at checkout is the whole of what you pay. idinsayit is not registered for GST, so no tax is added to it and nothing appears on your statement that you were not shown. Your receipt arrives by email.

Auto-renewal, and how to stop it

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, unless you cancel first. This is how you keep uninterrupted access.

To stop renewal: open your account page and cancel. It takes effect immediately as an instruction, and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. You are not charged again.

If you cannot reach your account page, email iam@idinsayit.com from your registered address and ask us to cancel. We will do it and confirm.

For annual plans we email you fourteen days before the renewal, with the amount, the date and a link to your account. It is one email and it does not ask you to do anything. If you would rather not go on, cancelling before that date is the whole of what is needed.

If a payment fails

Razorpay retries a failed payment on its own schedule, which is theirs to set and not ours to promise. While it is retrying, nothing changes and you go on reading. We email you so that you can fix the card if you want to.

If it still has not gone through when Razorpay gives up, the subscription ends there. You go back to the pieces marked free, and nothing of yours is deleted. We do not pursue you for the money and we will not pass it to anyone who would.

Price changes

We give at least 30 days notice by email before any price rise. It applies from your next renewal, never mid-period. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged the new price.

When a subscription ends

However it ends (you cancel, payment fails, or you close your account), the same thing happens:

  • Your full access stops at the end of the paid period.
  • You go back to reading the pieces marked free, like any other reader.
  • Your account stays unless you ask us to delete it. The billing record is the one thing we cannot simply erase on request: statutory accounting rules keep it for eight years from the end of that financial year, and the Data Protection and Grievance Redressal page sets out exactly how long everything is kept. Everything not held for that reason goes when you ask.
  • Nothing you have already downloaded or printed is taken away.
  • You can re-subscribe at any time, at the price then in force.

Gift and comped subscriptions

We sometimes give free subscriptions to people who cannot pay, including people in treatment. A comped subscription has no billing attached, does not renew or lapse, and can be ended by either side at any time. Ask at iam@idinsayit.com. We do not ask you to prove anything.

Refunds

See the Refund and Cancellation Policy. In short: you pay for the period and the period is yours, and we do not refund part of one. Two things come back anyway. A duplicate or mistaken charge, in full and every time. And the unused part, where we are the reason you cannot use it.

Changes

We may change what a subscription includes. If we take something material away, we tell subscribers by email at least 14 days beforehand, and you may cancel. Because that is us withdrawing what you were paying for rather than you changing your mind, we return the part of the period you can no longer use. The Refund and Cancellation Policy sets that out under If we are the reason.
